Correcting Patient Detailed Account Activity Tracer

Print the “Patients Account Activity Tracer” to collect all necessary dates to make the correction.

Make sure to enter the same units, type of transaction, category, and payment type.

 

To correct this entry error:

1. Obtain payment transaction seq# from the Patient Account Activity Tracer.

  • Accounts button $
  • Click Payment entry (or any other to get to the patient search screen)
  • Select patient and click Patient Inquire button
  • Click Account tab at the bottom
  • Click full detail if the transaction captures the transaction you want to reverse. If not, adjust the dates.

 

2. Go to the Reverse Account History button

  • Accounts button ($)
  • Accounts Dashboard on the right hand side.

 

3. Enter the seq#, select the line to reverse and click the “Reverse” button.

 

4. The payment will appear under the patient Cash Adjustment tab.

  • Accounts button ($)
  • Cash adjustment button and cash adjust the amount.
